Pharmacogenetic Testing in Jenkintown, PA

A simple cheek swab that shows how your body metabolizes psychiatric medications, narrowing the guesswork.

Pharmacogenetic Testing at All Heart Care

We offer pharmacogenomic testing as a tool to help analyze genetic information and inform clinical decisions about your care. This testing may help illuminate how certain medications are metabolized by an individual, and may provide insight that bolsters treatment planning and shortens the road to wellness. Ask us how pharmacogenomic testing might help you today.

Medication response varies significantly from person to person — the same drug can work well for one patient and do little, or cause side effects, for another. Pharmacogenetic testing gives a head start on that process by showing how your body is likely to metabolize a medication before you start it.

How testing is done

Genetic testing using GeneSight is conducted within medication management or psychiatric evaluations, to better identify medications that might be of benefit to the client's treatment goals.
